Mahindra Introduces “Get Highest Mileage or Return the Truck” Guarantee for Entire BS6 Truck Range

Mahindra Truck and Bus (MTB) Division, the commercial vehicle arm of the Mahindra Group, today announced the launch of its “Get Highest Mileage or Give Truck Back” warranty program for its entire range of BS6 trucks. Under this warranty program, the company claims that its BS6 range of heavy-duty, mid-size and light-duty vehicles will deliver the highest mileage compared to any other truck in their respective class. And if the vehicles don’t have best-in-class mileage, customers can return the vehicle. The mileage warranty will be applicable on models such as – Blazo X HCV, Furio ICV and LCV models such as Furio7 and Jayo.

The “Get More Mileage or Give Back Truck” warranty program was first introduced in 2016, with the Blazo X HCV truck. Since then, Mahindra has sold more than 33,000 Blazo X trucks, and the company says none of them have been returned so far. Mahindra’s BS6 range of trucks comes with the company’s FuelSmart technology, Mild EGR with Bosch after-treatment system that helps reduce Ad Blue consumption, in addition to the company’s iMAXX Telematics solution. The company claims that all of these contribute to delivering top-notch mileage. While the HCV range is powered by the company’s 7.2-liter mPower engine, the I&LCV models feature the mDi Tech engine.

While the mileage warranty will be applicable for the new BS6 range, for its existing (and future) customers, Mahindra offers two special after-sales service warranties. First, in the event of a breakdown, Mahindra promises to get the truck back on the road within 48 hours, and if this does not happen, the owner will be paid ₹1000 per day until the truck is ready. Second, the company also promises a 36-hour turnaround time for jobs that take place in a dealership shop. And for each subsequent day, the customer will be paid ₹3000 per day, if the vehicle is not ready.
