Garmin and Tacx Announce Unmatched List of Pro Cycling Teams and Sponsored Athletes for 2022

OLATHE, Kan.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Garmin® International, Inc., a unit of Garmin Ltd. (NYSE:GRMN), today announced sponsorship of more than 15 professional cycling teams and hundreds of professional runners, cyclists and triathletes for 2022 – all of whom have chosen the rugged Garmin and Tacx® ecosystem to help them achieve their race day goals.

Representing Garmin and Tacx in races around the world, cycling teams and sponsored athletes will be equipped with premium products including:

Professional cycling teams

Vinyl Quick Step-Alpha joins the 2022 list using both Garmin and Tacx products. The team, which has been using Tacx trainers for years, is made up of 30 riders from 13 different countries, including reigning world champion Julian Alaphillippe. Quick Step-Alpha Vinyl, which has nearly 800 UCI victories, will continue to train with Tacx NEO 2T Smart trainers and will now take advantage of Garmin’s full ecosystem, using Edge bike computers, Varia reversing radars , high-end portable devices and more.

For years the INEOS Grenadiers have relied on Garmin products to cross the finish line and now the team, made up of 31 riders, has chosen to include the powerful and precise Tacx NEO 2T Smart in their training.
