Italian superbike maker Benelli and Adishwar Auto Ride India on Thursday launched a dealership in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, the first in the northern Himalayan state and the country’s 47th, according to a statement. The latest installation offers the company’s full line of BS-VI superbikes, which includes Imperiale 400- Retro Classic, Leoncino 500 Street Scrambler, TRK 502- Grand Tourer, TRK 502X- Adventure Tourer and Ultimate Urban Cruiser, Benelli 502c, a- he declared.

The company had planned to launch 8-11 stores in 2020 and has already surpassed the target, with Dehradun being the 11th store to open this year, its spokesperson said. Of those, five dealers have come in the past four months alone – August-November, he said.

He added that the cities where these 11 concessions have been installed this year are Siliguri, Vellore, Bilaspur, Pune, Howrah, Jammu, Vytilla, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Ulhasnagar and Dehradun, according to the spokesperson. In total, Benelli India is now present in 42 cities, he said.

The Imperial 400 comes with a 2-year unlimited mileage warranty as standard, while the Leoncino 500, TRK 502, 502X and 502c come with a 3-year unlimited KMS warranty as standard, he said. He added that Benelli India also offers 24×7 roadside assistance to its customers.

Benelli returned to the Indian market in 2018 after partnering with Adishwar Auto Ride, a subsidiary of the Mahavir Group, based in Telangana, to set up a manufacturing plant in Hyderabad.
